From Rage to Regulated:

4 DAYS TO RESET YOUR REACTIONS

STEP OUT OF SURVIVAL AND START FINDING YOUR CALM

You’re not failing. You’re overwhelmed.

You swore you wouldn’t snap at your child. Yet here you are again - shouting, then drowning in guilt, apologising, promising you’ll do better.

You love your child fiercely, but the endless demands, advocacy battles, sensory storms and invisible pressures have pushed you to the edge. Your nervous system is maxed out. Calm feels impossible.

I know because I’ve been there. You’re not weak or broken. You’re living under chronic stress, and your reactions are a human response to an impossible load.

This free 4-day course starting Monday 13 October is the support I wish I’d had years ago. Wherever you’re based, whatever your child’s needs, you are very welcome here.

You’re allowed to do this for you.

This isn’t about putting your needs ahead of your child’s - it’s about learning to meet your own needs alongside theirs. Because you matter too.

I know what you’re thinking: “I don’t have time for one more thing.” This isn’t one more thing. This is fifteen minutes a day to start feeling human again. It won’t take you away from your family - it will give you more capacity to support them.

You’re allowed to give yourself permission to do this. You’re allowed to consider your own needs. You deserve a space with no judgement, where you can be authentic and understood.

What this free 4-day course is:

Over four short days we’ll work together on small, powerful steps to calm your body, soften the shame, and start feeling human again. Gentle and realistic, each day you’ll receive:

A short morning email with a simple focus and practice.

A live 15-minute Zoom mid-morning (see below for local time zones - replay available during the week of the course and one week after).

A calm Facebook group - I’ll post, you comment if you want. No overwhelm, no noise.

We’ll finish with a FREE live workshop on 17 October - Stop Shouting, Start Breathing: How to Find Peace in the Life You Already Live to bring it all together and show you how to make it last.

How you’ll start to feel after just 4 days sharing this space with me...

From: overstimulated, stressed, at capacity, shouting at your kids, drowning in guilt.

To: a calmer baseline, small moments of space for you, nervous system relief, more capacity to respond the way you want.

You’ll leave these four days with a clear sense of what’s happening in your body, a set of quick tools to soothe yourself, and a feeling of “I’m not broken, I’m human."

What we’ll cover together.

Day 1 - Understand your reactions

Why you’re not broken, why you’re overwhelmed, and how small practices can start to shift your state.

Day 2 - Calming in the moment

Tiny, intention-led actions to soothe your nervous system in real time.

Day 3 - Soften the inner critic

Notice and release the “I’m failing” thoughts. Begin gentle self-compassion and small changes in self-talk.

Day 4 - Acceptance and tiny joys

Free your energy from the fight and anchor in small glimmers of joy.

Workshop: Stop Shouting, Start Breathing

Bring it all together. Learn how to weave these tools into your real life so they last.

Why this space matters.

No judgement. A safe space with other parents who understand life at this intensity.

Practical tools you can actually use. Nothing dramatic or life-changing required - just small shifts that fit the life you already live.

Free. Take what you need from the mini-course and workshop.

About Emma.

Emma McDonnell is a parent-carer, neurodivergent mum and someone who has lived the relentlessness of this life. She’s been where you are: navigating EHCPs (IEPs), managing explosive behaviours, living on edge. After leaving a 20-year marketing career to put her family first, she had to figure out how to not lose herself completely.

Now Emma uses what she’s learned (and what she’s still learning) to support other parents who are carrying too much and getting too little in return. She believes every parent deserves the same compassion we give our children. This is about reclaiming space without guilt - and knowing someone else really does get it.

Emma isn’t here to tell you what to do. But she is here to say you’re not alone - and there are ways to breathe again.

Do I need to live in the UK?

No. This course is open to anyone who feels it would benefit them - everyone is welcome.

Does my child need a diagnosis?

No. Parenting can be tough. Parenting neurodivergent children can feel brutal at times. This course is designed to support you regardless of diagnosis or suspected neurodivergence. If you find yourself snapping, overwhelmed, or struggling to react how you want, you’re welcome here.

What time are the live calls in my country?

Live calls are at 11:00am UK BST.

This is approximately 9:00pm Sydney AEDT / 6:00am New York EDT.

Please check your own local time zone to be sure.

What if I can’t make it live?

No problem - you’ll get the replay during the week of the course and one week after.

Do I need to do homework?

No. Just read the short email, watch the 15-minute Zoom if you can, and try the simple daily practice.

What if I’m not on Facebook?

That’s absolutely fine. The Facebook group is optional. All live calls and resources will be in your member area too, so you can take part fully without being on Facebook.

Is it really free?

Yes. Take what you need from the mini-course and workshop.

You'll join my newsletter where I share honest support and tools for parents who are in it too. I’ll only pop into your inbox when I have something real to share, and you can leave anytime.
